Dr. Octavia is a licensed chiropractor and the founder of Zen Chiropractic & Wellness Space, a chiropractic and wellness practice in Baltimore City dedicated to elevating health through alignment, intentional care, and nervous-system support.
As one of the few Black female chiropractors in Baltimore, Dr. Octavia is deeply committed to representation in healthcare and creating a space where her patients feel seen, heard, and safely cared for throughout their wellness journey.
She is known for her attentive, patient-centered style:
she listens first, then treats. Her mission is to to help her patients move better, feel better, and live beautifully aligned — in body and in life.
Dr. Octavia holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Her academic background gives her a unique, holistic understanding of how the spine, nervous system, mindset, and stress responses all influence overall health.
Her clinical approach blends scientific precision with a grounding, spa-inspired experience. She is certified in Webster Technique for prenatal chiropractic care and is also a certified yoga instructor, which allows her to integrate mindful movement, breathwork, and body awareness into her treatment plans.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Octavia is rooted in family. She married her high school sweetheart, and together they are raising their three boys.
In her spare time, you’ll find her enjoying time with her family, reading a good book, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or practicing yoga and meditation to stay grounded and connected to her own wellness.
Dr. Octavia believes that health isn’t just physical — it is also affected by our spiritual and mental beings. She brings that philosophy into every patient interaction, encouraging her patients to create space for themselves, prioritize their mental health and wellness, and live balanced and aligned in body and in life.
